Piqué (also known as pique) refers to a textile fabric whose surface is characterized by alternating raised and depressed areas. Jersey, also called tricot, is a knitted cotton fabric, usually with a percentage of elastane. Its light and soft feel makes it the most commonly used fabric for T-shirts. It can also be used to sew sweatpants, hats, dresses, and much more.
