Jersey , also known as knit, is a knitted cotton fabric, usually with added elastane. Its light and soft feel makes it the most commonly used fabric for T-shirts. But it can also be used to sew jogging pants, hats, dresses, and much more.

French terry, also known as summer sweat, is a stretchy fabric. Unlike other fabrics, it is not knitted or woven, but rather warp-knitted. This creates the typical looped texture on the inside. The fabric drapes softly and is very comfortable to wear; it is slightly firmer and has a better grip than jersey. French terry is perfect for sweatpants or hoodies.
