Jersey , also called tricot, is a knitted cotton fabric, usually with a percentage of elastane. Its light and soft feel makes it the most commonly used fabric for T-shirts. It can also be used to sew sweatpants, hats, dresses, and much more.

Good to know
- Do you still need a matching thread or a matching plain fabric ? We'd be happy to find the right one for you!
- Jersey is best sewn with an overlock machine, but the overlock stitch on a regular sewing machine or even a zigzag stitch also work well.
- The fabric may shrink by up to 5%.
- For sewing we recommend a Jersey sewing needle , for hemming a twin needle is best.
- We deliver the fabric folded and cut it in one piece.
- Colors may vary depending on your screen; we are happy to help with possible combinations.
Washing recommendation
Washable at 30°C, we recommend washing it ready-made and not using optical brighteners.
