We don't even need to introduce Bono – the beloved Italian cotton knit with elastane has captured our hearts and is now an integral part of the Swafing range! This brushed knit fabric is very popular with both our customers and retailers. Bono impresses with its high cotton content and its dreamy, slightly brushed surface. Homemade favorites that will stay with us for a long time – Bono washes well and remains beautiful even after frequent wear! Bono has the same composition and surface as Strick Bene, but is brushed even cozier and fluffier on the back, making it a bit warmer. An absolute favorite, ideal for a capsule wardrobe.
Wonderfully soft knit fabric. There are so many beautiful knit fabrics, including soft, brushed fine knits, thick knits with rustic cable patterns, or chunky knits with interesting stitch structures. Jersey fabrics are also essentially knit fabrics. This one is incomparably soft and comfortable.

- It is best to sew knitted fabrics with an overlock machine, but the overlock stitch on a normal sewing machine or even a zigzag stitch also work well.
- Use Wonderclips instead of pins to pin the layers of fabric together, as these tend to disappear somewhere in the fabric, especially with coarse knits.
- The fabric may shrink by up to 10%, so be sure to pre-wash.
- For sewing we recommend a jersey sewing needle , for hemming a twin needle is best.
- We deliver the fabric folded and it is cut in one piece.
- Colors may vary depending on your screen; we are happy to help with possible combinations.
Washing recommendation
Washable at max 30°C, hand wash or hand wash program.
