Our teddy fabric is currently available in 4 typical teddy colors. This is great for sewing a classic teddy bear, but it also gives our other kullaloo characters a super cute fuzzy look! However, you should note that the teddy fabric is much thicker than our SuperSoft, and small cuddly toys are more difficult to sew with it.
But our teddy fabric is not only used for people, but also for sewing for pets, for example! It doesn't matter whether you want to make a dog blanket or a cat basket yourself, your animal roommate will certainly feel at home with this plush. The plush is also great for feeding dog carrier bags or dog coats!
Characteristics of the teddy fabric:
The teddy fabric is slightly stretchy and has a smooth reverse side that is colored darker. In addition, our teddy plush is easy to care for, because it is washable at 30° and suitable for tumble drying (gentle cycle). Compared to kullaloo SuperSoft plush fabric, the teddy fur is considerably thicker and heavier. As is usual with teddy fabrics, it does not have an even pile with individual hairs, but the pile fibers are felted together into small tufts. This creates a fantastically fuzzy look. The hairs are up to 15 mm long, but the tufts result in an optical pile height of approx. 10 mm. When the plush fabric is sewn, the seams are barely visible because they are covered by the pile fibers. The sewing result not only looks wonderfully fuzzy, but also particularly clean.
Compared to classic teddy plush made of cotton, our teddy fabric has the advantage that it is much softer and does not lose any of its incomparable cuddliness even after many washes. Very good prerequisites for enjoying your self-sewn piece for a long time!
Like all kullaloo fabrics, FANTASTIC Furs Fine teddy is also suitable for sewing for babies and children, as it has been tested for harmful substances in accordance with the European standard for toys EN 71-3 and 71-9 (certificates available on request).
Scope of delivery of the teddy fabric in wool white:
The teddy plush is basically available in different versions:
Here as a finished cut of fabric with the dimensions 100 × 75 cm, which corresponds to a piece of fabric of 0.5 m with a fabric width of 1.6 m (+/- 5%). However, the advantage of the size 100×75 cm is that the area is more rectangular and you can more easily make larger cuts from it, such as for baby blankets, pillows or even parts for an overall.
