Nicki - Kullaloo Shorty Dapple grey (Hobbyhorse) - 100 x 75cm

This panel design is the perfect Hobby Horse fabric for sewing dapple gray horses without the typical dapplespaint it yourself with fabric paint! In the middle of the 100 x 75 cm piece of fabric are light dots with dark borders that imitate the coat spots on a dapple gray horse. Towards the sides, the dots softly fade into monochromatic grey. This allows you to place the pattern pieces for your Hobby Horse in such a way that there are points on the neck but not in the area around the eyes and mouth!

Because the fabric is slightly shiny, the dots are more or less visible depending on the light. The shading is clearly visible on the finished Hobby Horse, but at the same time it is subtle and not too "hard" in terms of contrast.

The Hobby Horse fabric is a digital print on our SuperSoft SHORTY (it looks a bit flatter/shorter due to the imprint), which is nice and soft and doesn't lose any of its cosiness even after many washes. SHORTY is also perfect for sewing babies and children because it is easy-care (washable at 30°, suitable for tumble drying) and at the same time tested for harmful substances in accordance with the European standard for toys.

Properties of our short-pile plush fabric SuperSoft SHORTY:

SHORTY is characterized by its great softness despite the very short pile (1.5 mm). The short-haired plush resembles a velor fabric in terms of appearance and texture, but is much softer and cuddly. Such a type of plush is also known in English-speaking countries under the name Minky / Minkee. There is smooth knit on the back of the plush, making it easy to work with. SHORTY is suitable for toys (EN 71-3 and EN 71-9 certificate available on request) and has a great price-performance ratio.
