Sweat fabrics are knitted fabrics and consist of intertwined loops. Unlike other knitted fabrics, such as Jersey , sweat fabrics have an additional thread knitted into the reverse side, which is then roughened. This makes the reverse side nice and cozy and warm. The fabric drapes softly and is very comfortable to wear; it is stronger and has a better grip than Jersey . Sweat is perfect for sweatpants or hoodies. The name "sweat" is English and means "sweat," not to be confused with "sweet," which would mean "sweaty."

- Do you still need a matching thread or amatching plain fabric ? We'd be happy to find the right one for you!
- Sweat is best sewn with an overlock machine, but the overlock stitch on a regular sewing machine or even a zigzag stitch also work well.
- The edges of the fabric roll less than with normal Jersey , which makes it easier to work with.
- The fabric may shrink by up to 5%.
- For sewing we recommend a Jersey sewing needle , for hemming a twin needle is best.
- We deliver the fabric folded and cut it in one piece.
- Colors may vary depending on your screen; we are happy to help with possible combinations.
Washing recommendation
The fabric is washable at 30°C, no fabric softener, we recommend washing it ready-made.
