French Terry - Eisland alle 40 x 50cm

French terry, or summer sweat, is a stretchy fabric. Unlike other types of fabric, it is not knitted or woven, but warp-knitted. This creates the typical loop structure on the inside. The fabric falls softly and is very comfortable to wear, it is a bit firmer and has a better grip than jersey knit. French terry is perfect for jogging pants or hoodies.

• You still need a matching thread or a matching plain fabric? We are happy to choose the right one for you!
• French terry is best sewn with an overlock machine, but the overlock stitch on a normal sewing machine or a zigzag also work well.
• The edges of the fabric curl less than with a normal jersey knit, making it easier to work with.
• The fabric can shrink up to 5%.
• For sewing, we recommend a We deliver the fabric folded, it is cut in one piece.

  Washable at 30°C, we recommend washing this ready-made and not using optical brighteners.
