Jersey - Papercut Gasser black

Jersey , also known as knit, is a knitted cotton fabric, usually with added elastane. Its light and soft feel makes it the most commonly used fabric for T-shirts. But it can also be used to sew jogging pants, hats, dresses, and much more.

Good to know

• Do you still need a suitable thread or a matching solid-colored fabric ? We'd be happy to select the right one for you!
• Jersey is best sewn with an overlock machine, but the overlock stitch of a normal sewing machine or a zigzag stitch also work well.
• The fabric may shrink by up to 10%; pre-washing is recommended.
• For sewing, we recommend a Jersey sewing needle ; for hemming, a twin needle is best.
• We deliver the fabric folded; it will be cut in one piece.
• Colors may vary depending on your screen; we are happy to help with combination options.

Washing instructions

Wash at a low temperature (max. 30°C) with a mild detergent without optical brighteners. For best results, dry flat or hang to maintain elasticity. Iron at a low temperature (max. 110°C) on the reverse side of the fabric. Avoid washing with coarse or colorfast materials and tumble drying to prevent color changes and damage to the fabric.
