The two-part waistband is flexibly adjustable with elastic at the sides and back, and the front section sits flat. The practical pockets can be trimmed with bias binding or topstitched as desired. Two patch pockets on the back add a stylish touch.
To be perfectly equipped for summer, you can't go without a pair of casual shorts. Use our "Summer" paper pattern to sew a pair of loose-fitting shorts or Bermuda shorts. A practical detail is the two-part waistband, which can be adjusted with elastic at the back and sides, yet sits flat at the front. For additional decorative touches, you can trim the pockets with bias binding or topstitch them and sew on two back pockets.
The paper pattern contains:
- Paper sheets with pattern pieces for sizes 32 to 54
- Variations: short and longer shorts, with normal hems or to roll up
- Handy booklet with size charts, cutting plans and tips for adjusting sizes

Additionally you will need 75-105 cm elastic band, 3.5 cm wide and some iron-on interfacing (e.g. Vlieseline H 200)
