With our "Julie" pattern, you can sew a women's shirt blouse with classic details: a shirt collar with stand, a double-knit back yoke, and long sleeves with bound slits and cuffs. Depending on your fabric choice, the pattern can be designed as a casual leisure shirt with roll-up sleeves and snap fasteners, or sewn from fine fabrics for special occasions and office work. The pattern also includes short sleeves with turn-ups and two different breast pockets.
With the "Julie" paper pattern, you can easily sew timeless women's blouses yourself. Use loose, airy cotton for the short-sleeved version or soft flannel for the long-sleeved version – this blouse will accompany you through every season. The shirt collar with stand, the double back yoke, and the cuffs for the long sleeves ensure a classic look. With various breast pockets, tabs for rolling up, or the casual, short sleeves with turn-ups, "Julie" can be used to sew great casual blouses.
The paper pattern contains:
- Paper sheets with pattern pieces in sizes 32 to 54
- Variations: long sleeves with cuffs and turn-up tabs, short sleeves, 2 different pockets
- Handy booklet with size charts, cutting plans and sewing tips as well as instructions for pattern adjustment.
Fabric recommendation:
woven fabrics, e.g. poplin, blouse jeans, flannel, voile, chambray or viscose fabric (Javanaise)
You will also need 20 to 25 cm of iron-on interfacing, e.g. Vlieseline G710 or G785, and 11-13 buttons or snap fasteners.
