SnapPap - Vegan leather - dark brown

SnapPap is a leather-look washable paper made from a paper-plastic mix. It's 100% vegan. Due to its unique nature, this new material can be used in many ways! There are no limits to your imagination: SnapPap can be sewn, plotted, (be) glued, printed with color or flex film, painted, stamped, embossed, ironed with flock.

• Thickness: 0.55mm
• Size: 50 x 150cm
• Material:  SnapPap consists of more than 60% cellulose. The remaining ingredients are color pigments and latex. The cellulose is obtained from trees from northern European, sustainably managed forests (mostly spruce). However, there is no FSC certification for the origin.

• The easiest way to attach
• Snappap is with Wonder Clips, pins leave unsightly holes.
• You sew snappap with the straight stitch. The fabric does not fray, so overcasting is not necessary. You can easily choose a slightly larger stitch length.
• If you sew up SnapPap, we recommend washing it beforehand because this makes the material softer and easier to work with. Washing also gives it its characteristic leather look. SnapPap shrinks a little when washed.
• When plotting, handicrafts or pasting, the result will be better if it is not washed beforehand.
• For sewing, we recommend a Leather needle or a 90s universal needle.
• Before washing, SnapPap feels like thick photo cardboard and after washing it has a leather-like surface. The leather look of SnapPap is reinforced by crumpling.
• You can safely use the tumble dryer. The material leaves no fibers and can withstand high temperatures, but creases significantly more in the dryer.
• You can iron SnapPap on high and with steam. It becomes completely smooth again if you iron the damp SnapPap with steam. This also applies to unwashed SnapPap.
• The colors may vary depending on the screen, we are happy to help with possible combinations.

Washing recommendation

Snappap is washable at 60°C, can be dried and ironed.
