Softshell - uni schwarz

Softshell usually consists of two or three laminated membrane layers. The outer layer is usually made from synthetic fibers such as polyester, polyamide or polypropylene, because these synthetic fibers have the ability to transport moisture well without absorbing much themselves. The inside is made of a fleece fabric, which provides warmth and makes it nice and soft.

Softshell is robust, soft and supple and transports moisture from the inside to the outside to prevent sweating. Softshell jackets are water-repellent in light snow or rain, but not waterproof, so they are not recommended in continuous rain. They are the ideal companion in cooler temperatures, wind and a little precipitation.

The easiest way to attach softshell is with Wonder Clips; pins leave unsightly holes.
You sew softshell with a straight stitch. We recommend using a stitch length of 3.5 - 4 mm. The fabric does not fray, so overcasting is not absolutely necessary. However, the seams will be nicer and flatter if they have been finished with the overlock.
For sewing we recommend a standard 80 needle or the Microtex needle.
It is not necessary to pre-wash softshell.
The fabric is delivered in one piece and folded.
The colors may vary depending on the screen, we are happy to help with possible combinations.

Washing recommendation

Softshell is washable at 30°C, preferably with liquid mild detergent. Allow to air dry.
