Mettler stitching thread “Fadenschlag” yellow

The basting thread is used for...yes, exactly basting and sewing through all kinds of fabrics (not too many layers). Because it is made from 100% natural cotton fiber, it is loosely spun and therefore easy to tear. To prevent slipping when sewing (especially delicate projects), people like to fix hems and seams with exactly this thread, which is probably why it is always in stock in every tailor shop and when trying on clothes. Even though the thread can be sewn with a sewing machine, his absolute specialty is the good work with needle and thread. All in all, we think it's a yarn that can be used again and again and should therefore not be missing from any sewing box!
