With synthetic leather, synthetic fibers are used to imitate real leather in terms of its appearance, structure and feel.
This is possible in almost all variants: smooth and soft, rough and coarse, suede look, matt or shiny, etc. It is cheaper than real leather but can be used in a similar way. The plastic coating is applied to the carrier layer, which consists of either synthetic or natural fibers. Synthetic leather is versatile for bags, interior design, decoration and much more.

• The easiest way to attach
• synthetic leather is to use Wonder Clips, pins leave unsightly holes .
• You sew synthetic leather with the straight stitch. The fabric does not fray, so overcasting is not necessary. You can easily choose a slightly larger stitch length.
• For sewing, we recommend a Leather needle or a 90s universal needle. The Microtex needle.
• is also suitable for fine leather
• It is advisable to work with a walking foot or a Teflon foot. Alternatively, you can stick a piece of painter's crèpes tape or masking tape under the normal presser foot.
• We deliver the fabric folded, it is cut in one piece.

Washing recommendation

Synthetic leather should only be hand washed or wiped clean with a damp cloth.
