Woven Viscose - Solid dusty green

Contrary to many rumours, viscose is not a pure synthetic fibre, but an industrially manufactured product made from natural cellulose. It is very similar to cotton but is a little heavier.

Woven fabric made of viscose is particularly pleasant on the skin and flows wonderfully softly. Perfect for blouses, skirts, light trousers and much more.

• Here we have collected all the patterns for woven goods.
• Prewash your fabric because viscose can shrink quite a bit. It is best to clean up the cut edges beforehand so that nothing frays when washing.
• Woven viscose fabric is sewn with a short straight stitch and loosened thread tension.
• We recommend a fine Microtex needle.

• Viscose woven fabric is quite "slippery", use spray starch before ironing to give it a little more grip. After sewing you will probably have to wash your finished piece again. Incidentally, ironing starch can also be made yourself from water and cornstarch if you don't have any to hand.
• Instead of pins, we recommend using Wonder Clips as they don't have holes in the fabric leave.
• A short-pile carpet is suitable as a base for slippery fabrics. Only make small cutting movements with the scissors and fix the fabric with your left hand just next to the fabric edge to be cut so that it slips less.
• We deliver the fabric folded, it is cut in one piece.
