Good to know

• Do you still need a suitable thread ? We'll gladly select the right one for you!
• Pre-wash your fabric, as viscose can shrink considerably. It's best to finish the cut edges beforehand to prevent fraying during washing.
• viscose woven fabric is sewn with a short straight stitch and loosened thread tension.
• We recommend a fine microtex needle for sewing.
• Viscose fabric is quite slippery, so use spray starch before ironing to give it a bit more grip. After sewing, you'll probably need to wash your finished garment again. By the way, you can also make your own ironing starch from water and cornstarch if you don't have any on hand.
• Instead of pins, we recommend Wonder Clips , as these do not leave holes in the fabric.
• For slippery fabrics, a short-pile carpet makes a good base. Use the scissors for small, precise cuts and hold the fabric in place with your left hand close to the edge you're cutting to prevent it from slipping.
• We deliver the fabric folded; it will be cut in one piece.
