The practical bias tape formers from Prym enable bias tapes of any length to be perfectly formed for edging any fabric edges or even patchwork quilts. By cutting the fabric strips at an angle of 45 degrees to the grain of the fabric, the bias binding becomes elastic and can also be worked perfectly in curves. After the strips of fabric are cut and joined together, the fabric is fed into the wide opening of the bias tape maker and pulled through. The perfectly folded bias strip can be pulled out on the flat side of this useful helper and straightened out with the iron. In this way, the bias binding is quick and reliable and can simply be rolled up for further use.
